Jason joined Blankenship CPA group in November 2024 after almost 28 years of public accounting practice in the Nashville area. Growing up in East Tennessee and after obtaining his bachelors degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Jason moved to Nashville in 1997 and started as an intern with Frasier, Dean and Howard, PLLC (FDH). Jason went on to earn his Masters Degree in Accountancy from Belmont University in 2000. Handling a balanced mix of clients in the Real Estate, Retail and Healthcare Fields he became a partner at FDH in 2017. Shortly after, FDH was acquired by Cherry Bekaert, LP where Jason focused his practice in the Real Estate and Construction Industry while also continuing to work with highly successful individuals and other closely held businesses in a variety of industries. After 7 years with a Nationally ranked firm, Jason followed his desire to re-focus his practice back to client care and the local market so he made the move to Blankenship. Using his background and experience in both a local firm and national firm Jason will continue to provide Tax Compliance, Tax Planning, and Tax Consulting services to companies and individuals in the middle Tennessee area.

Jason has been married to his wife Andrea for over 20 years and they have twin boys, Cory and Carson. They also have three dogs. Jason and Andrea enjoy their spring and summers at the ballpark watching Cory and Carson playing baseball. He also enjoys riding four wheelers, shooting skeet, and traveling to Montana for snowmobiling in the winter and jumping on a cruise ship for a Caribbean island in the summer.
