Russell joined Blankenship CPA Group in 2024 after five years of public accounting experience, starting as a bookkeeper and working his way up to Tax Manager. He has his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a focus in Corporate Accounting from Arizona State University. Although Russell is an Enrolled Agent, he is working to earn both his CPA license and master’s in business administration. His main industries of experience include construction and aeronautics. Born and raised in southern California, with a love for surfing and water polo, Russell started his career as a professional photographer. He went on to serve in Christian ministry as a children’s ministry coordinator in California, a youth pastor in Hawaii, and a youth ministry leader for a church plant in Boston, where he also became the manager for the church’s non-profit coffee house. Russell still thoroughly enjoys photography, ministry, and coffee, as well as woodworking, reading, hunting, and swimming. Russell and his wife, Allie, have been married since 2014, and they love dancing, traveling, and doing ministry together. They have two amazingly fun and energetic young sons, and they love to go hiking and adventuring as a family.
