Royce Rhea received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Personal Financial Specialist, and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. Royce is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a Life Member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. His area of expertise is tax planning for individuals and their closely held businesses.

Prior to joining Blankenship CPA Group PLLC as a Principal, Royce worked for The Internal Revenue Service as an Agent in the Dallas District, JC Bradford & Company in their Wealth Management Division, and as a partner in a Public Accounting Firm. As an IRS Agent, Royce was the recipient of the United States Department of the Treasurys’ Certificate of Award for his noteworthy contribution to the effective and efficient operation of the Department of the Treasury.

Royce has served as Nashville Chapter Presidents for both the Institute of Management Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. He currently serves as a board member on the Nashville Chapter Board of the TSCPA and on the TSCPAS’ 24-25 Employee Benefit Plans Conference Planning Committee.

Royce has recently been appointed to serve a second term on the Independent Audit Committee for Williamson County Tennessee.

When he is not at work, you can find Royce playing golf with his 6 grandchildren, and spending time with Miss Katie.
